What is Europan?

Europan is an international competition for young architects and urban designers. In Europan 15 there are about 50 sites from 12 different European countries. The Finnish sites are Hyvinkää and Tuusula.

The theme of Europan 15 is Productive Cities. Competitors are asked to address the theme in their competition proposal.

Each competitor or team may enter submissions for several sites. The entries will be submitted digitally. To receive a complete set of competition material, competitors or teams must register on the Europan web site www.europan-europe.eu.

Competitors are encouraged to form multidiciplinary teams, each team including at least one architect or landscape architect. All team members, whatever their profession must be under 40 years of age on the closing date for submission of entries.
